There are currently 1 Professor and 4 Associate Professors in our Department of Radiology. and 2 Drs. There are 7 faculty members, including faculty members.
In our Department of Radiology, faculty members, research assistants and technical staff who are experts in their fields with superior knowledge and experience provide services with the help of the necessary tools and equipment that perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures required by modern medicine. In our Department of Radiology, 1 Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) device of 1.5 Tesla, 2 Computerized Tomography (CT) devices, one with 128 slices (outpatient clinic building) and the other with 32 slices (in the Emergency Department), 5 Doppler enabled devices, one of which is to be used in the Interventional Radiology unit. There is a High-Level Ultrasonography (US) device, 1 Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) device, 1 Digital Mammography device with tomosynthesis feature, 4 Digital X-ray devices, one of which is in the emergency room, and 4 Mobile X-ray devices.
Bone Densitometer Measurement can be performed on a Computerized Tomography (CT) device. There is also 1 Scopi device in the Operating Room. 22 Medical Specialization Students are studying in the Department of Radiology. Our department currently provides services in the sub-units of abdominal radiology, neuroradiology, head and neck radiology, thoracic radiology, breast radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, cardiovascular and interventional radiology, with faculty members who are experts in their fields.
In our Department of Radiology, advanced imaging methods such as MR Perfusion and Spectroscopy, MR Arthrography, MR Defecography, Prostate MRI, Breast MRI, Coronary CT Angiography, US Elastography, Ultrasonographic Microflow Imaging can be applied. Additionally, MRI examinations are performed under anesthesia once a week, mainly for pediatric patients. 36 X-Ray Technicians work in the Department of Radiology.
